The digital audio technology leader Frontier Smart Technologies has announced that its M6 and Magic X services will be transferred to airable in December, and the internet radio portal, MediaU, will be shut down by 15th December 2024. This change will affect some functions of SANGEAN WFR-32 and WFR-39 internet radios.
Since the MediaU server used by SANGEAN WFR-32 and WFR-39 internet radios will not support weather services after being transferred to airable, the WFR-32 and WFR-39 will not display weather information in standby mode in the future. In addition, due to the shutdown of the MediaU server, users of the WFR-32 and WFR-39 will not be able to create a custom station list and play these stations. However, internet radio and podcast services will continue to be provided by airable.
